Wearable tech is an ever growing niche in the market. It's various forms are fairly regularly being launched to varying success and now Anatomic & Co have entered the fray with the 'In Good Company' shoe. Contrary to how most wearable tech ideas facilitate even more interaction on your phone this pair of smart-er shoes allow you to edit what notifications you see. The concept is created in collaboration with UCL and a creative consultancy called DH Ready and is inspired by the digital detox movement. For those not in the know that's an idea that is exactly what it sounds like; a period of time where you remove yourself from the digital world.
In essence this allows you to keep work time at work and your friends from invading your professional life with NSFW interruptions. This all lies in a welted brogue oxford shoe with a neat blue outersole. As with all Anatomic shoes this pair is designed in the UK and made in Brasil. The shoe will be released via a Kickstarter page so watch out for that in the future.
