Burberry becomes first brand to launch on Apple music
Burberry has become the first fashion label to launch on Apple music today. Showcasing emerging and iconic British artists, featuring performances, songs and films alongside playlists from past, present and future musical talent, the Burberry channel will sit in the 'Curators' section of Apple music.
Just in time for London Fashion Week, Burberry have also announced that iconic British singer Alison Moyet will be performing at the Burberry catwalk show and the performance will then be available on the Burberry channel.
Burberry, under Christopher Bailey has had a long traditional of supporting musical artists and championing artists such as Tom Odell, James Bay, George Ezra and Keane who have all collaborated with the brand on catwalk shows, events and online campaigns.
Christopher Bailey said. " There are so many extraordinary British artist and it is a privilege to have the opportunity to work with them and showcase their incredible talent. Music has always been intrinsic to what we do and I am excited about our partnership with Apple on this amazing platform which will enable us to take what we do with Burberry Acoustic and share it with an even bigger audience."
Burberry launches on Apple today with a series of exclusive videos and performances from Lilla Vargen, Georgie and Rhodes alongside the exclusive performance from Alison Moyet during London Fashion Week.
