It’s that inevitable time of the year again, where the word ‘Nautical’ begins to show up everywhere you turn! It’s the same every year, yet still the fashion press will market this as a brand spanking new trend – you know what they say, if you can’t beat them, JOIN them!
So forget what you already know, the best way to wear the nautical trend this season comes from the streets! It’s clear to see that stripes is the key ingredient, but the challenge here is how you adapt it to your personal style whilst keeping it current. Aside from the usual suspects: boat shoes, chinos, navy blazer etc try throwing in a neutral knit in the mix or a denim jacket, and the much coveted espadrilles.
