Entrepreneurs who surf
Surfing is one of those sports which just seems to get more and more popular each year, Finisterre the British label has been creating cool, stylish and innovative clothing for the surfing community since 2002. Founded by Tom Kay and a group of friends who decided to follow their dreams by launching a clothing label inspired by their love for cold water surfing and the ocean, the collection is designed for those surfing in Northern Europe and the beautiful coast of Cornwall rather than the sunny waves of Hawaii.
The brand founded by a group of entrepreneurs following their dreams have launched a new campaign celebrating the growing number of entrepreneurs in Cornwall who combine the freedom of running their own business with surfing when the time allows. Amongst the entrepreneurs wearing the Autumn/Winter collection are Alex and Ross who run a design agency away from the London scene, Mark Jones who launched the UK's best selling sleeping blanket, Rich Blake a coffee roaster and Benedict Quinn a private chef who all share the same attitude and spirit which celebrates the wonderful landscape and climate of Cornwall.
With a focus on product, environment and people, Finisterre has also garnered a number of awards including a Volvo design award and an Observer ethical award for their commitment to sustainability. The brand has recently opened a flagship in Covent Garden, where you can find out more about surfing and entrepreneurs who surf.
