Korres Black Pine – be a firm believer by Belinda Morris.
They’re admittedly not for everyone, but if you’ve used a beard oil or shaving oil then the idea of using an oil on your face wont be too much of a stretch. It sounds – logically enough – like it’s going to be greasy and lie on the skin, but if it’s a good one, the quality ingredients (natural in this case) will be absorbed quickly and easily.
Greek skincare brand Korres has extended its anti-ageing Black Pine range to include Firming Nourishing & Antiwrinkle Active-Oil (£45 – 30ml), which works as an intensive treatment for skin that’s particularly dry and looking a bit, well, wrinkled and maybe got quite as springily firm and plumptious as it once was!
The high concentration of fatty acids protect the upper layer of the skin while preventing further water loss, which in turn helps to restore elasticity, and as they’re also powerful anti-oxidants, they’re also effective in the anti-=ageing fight. Black pine oil synergises with a blend of natural active ingredients like jojoba, argan, apricot and almond oil, to rehydrate the skin. Particular good if yours is the sensitive type.
You can use it on its own at night – massaging into the skin – or apply your usual moisturizer over the top.
