Missoni Parfum Pour Homme By Belinda Morris
It’s been a long time coming – 20 years to be precise – but this month the iconic Italian knitwear brand Missoni has launched a new men’s fragrance. And it’s back to the male market with a scent that’s unambiguously masculine – from the black and gold box, to the satisfyingly weighty, dark-tinted bottle with zig-zag-engraved cap, to the fragrance itself.
The first spritz is unmistakably citrusy. I thought I detected lime, but turns out it’s the leaves and pulp of green lemon, with a shot of pink pomelo and lavender, fruity pomarose and soft jasmine provides the middle notes. As the fragrance dries down, the warmth of this woody aromatic is evident, thanks to sandalwood, oakwood, birch, patchouli and musk. Despite its initial bold, fresh statement, this is a classic, subtle parfum that says ‘low-key luxe’.
And if you like to layer your fragrance, there’s also a bath and body line with After Shave Lotion, After Shave Balm, Deodorant and Bath & Shower Gel.
From £22 (Deodorant) to £62 (EDP 100ml)
Available exclusively from Harrods, then nationwide from October 2017
