Some things are worth travelling for. It doesn't have to be far but when there's that certain something that you know you need then you just have to have it. A prime example of this would be the guys who cycle to Mother's Milk every Tuesday morning for their espresso, long black or flat white. Whatever their poison may be (as long as it's coffee) they come from far and wide across London to get their fix. Why do they travel so much for coffee you ask? Well, for starters they sit at the top of the, ahem, Michelin Guide of the caffeine pushing industry. Indeed, London's Best Coffee app's top spot is theirs.
Started by Will Halliard and James Wise the duo humorously describe themselves as "serving espresso alright espresso in an already saturated market" the coffee is actually really very good. Run by a duo who have been tutored by former barista world champions and coffee pioneers the two cut their teeth at running the in store coffee bar at Rapha. Working within one of the world's leading cycling brands store obviously led them to interacting with cyclists.
Which leads us back to travelling to places to get your heart's desires. A set of core fans from the Rapha days - 25 creatives, photographers, musicians and et cetera - come to visit them. Situated at Exposure London their new location in the offices of one of London's premier communications. It is however open to anyone, cyclist or not, between the hours of 08:30 and 16:00 at 21-22 Little Portland Street W1W 8BU.
