GROOMING By Belinda Morris
GOOD HAIR DAY
If the perfect foundation or red lippy is the holy grail for some women, then, in my (admittedly limited) experience, the ‘just right’ hair styling product can engender the same eureka moment for certain men.
So, drum roll please for Sachajuan, the session- and salon-tested hair products that were created to deliver professional performance, by people who know how hair should look, feel and move.
There’s already a wax and a paste in the range. But now, particularly for shorter hair styles, there’s ‘Fabre Paste’ which is ideal for thick, coarse hair, which needs absolute control and maybe the possibility of being re-shaped. It gives great texture and a subtle shine.
If you want rough, supple hold, but zero shine, there’s Matt Wax. Like Fibre Paste it can be used on wet or dry hair, but if you put it on while the hair is wet, the matte effect will be even more visible when the hair dries and the soft hold means that you can restyle if you want to.
It’s as easy to apply as a cream, doesn’t leave hair feeling ‘prickly’ or sticky and smells nice – says tester John, who knows a thing or two about hair wax.
