Brompton Bicycle, the London based manufacturer of the iconic folding bike is hosting a rather cool photography exhibition #MyUnseenCity photography, taking place at Brompton Junction, London. The exhibition will display the very best of urban photography, showcasing ‘unseen’ parts of the city, the hidden gems and what makes city living so unique and exciting.
The exhibition concludes a global Instagram competition to mark the launch of the 2017 Black Edition Brompton bike, which was inspired by cycling in the city at night. The competition winners, and a selection of the best entries will be on display in the Brompton’s flagship store in Covent Garden for two weeks from 2nd February to 16th February. The winning entries are due to be announced at the exhibition opening on 2nd February.
The featured photography has been selected by an international judging panel of leading figures from the creative industries including @London’s Dave Burt, @PaperBoyo’s Rich McCor, @raquelsanchezsilva Raquel Sanchez Silva and Brompton CEO Will Butler-Adams.
Brompton’s #MyUnseenCity photography competition received well over 4000 entries with 80% of entries coming from 37 countries across the world.
Brompton CEO and judge Will Butler-Adams commented: “A Brompton is the perfect way of discovering hidden gems in your city. The #MyUnseenCity competition has given Brompton owners, photographers and anyone who lives in a city the chance to explore new places and share them with the world – they haven’t disappointed with people entering from cities all over the world!”
@London CEO and founder, Dave Burt added: “The best stories are often found between the pages of a passport, and Brompton share that insatiable human spirit of adventure that burns within me. It's been a joy to watch photos pour in from around the world, which proves we are united through a journey of discovery and storytelling.”
