Got a beard? Tired of people telling you it’s scruffy/itchy? Want a bit of home help? Ok, so here’s a grooming range that will soon have you feeling smug about your facial hair. Red Anchor is a new, small British business that has made it their goal to use high quality ingredients to create luxury grooming products. The natural oils and extracts are organic where possible, the active ingredients are there to product effective results and the fragrances have been chosen with gents in mind.
For those new to the beard game who thought that being hirsute would mean less time with your grooming routine, ie, no shaving, here’s the bad news: beards need plenty of TLC (unless you’re going for the Catweazle look). Red Anchor have thought of everything though, so you can face Movember and Decembeard with your head held high.
Having a beard doesn’t get you out of a good face wash! Sandalwood Face and Beard Cleanser (£12.50 – 250ml) contains the sort of oils and extracts (like argan and seaweed) to remove impurities, boost natural barriers, soothe skin and even help you relax with the aid of sandalwood. The Sea Breeze ersion combines natural mountain pepper berry and seaweed extracts with honey and aloe vera for a thoroughly refreshed sensation. The line also includes Post Shave Balm, Coconut Oil, Moustache Wax, Shower Gel and, er, denim shirts.

Beard Oil (£14.50 – 50ml) contains vitamin E and omega 9-enriched jojoba, coconut, black seed, macadamia nut and sandalwood oils that hydrate, smooth and protect the skin as well as the hair. Just apply a few drops to the palms of your hands and smooth through your beard – using a beard comb if you need to untangle a few knots. If you like a slightly invigorating smell there’s Sea Breeze Oil, or, for a warmer, reviving scent try Sandalwood.
