The Other Store on Carnaby street is one of those stores that everyone who knows about and is in to their clothes not only knows about but likes too. So what's new this time? Well, they've collaborated with cloth house Merchant & Mills to create a collection of Other Store classics. The fabric of course is sourced by Merchant & Mills. A company that prides themselves on travelling the world and finding the best and most interesting fabric available. For this collection the Other team have used a hand dyed and printed cloth selection coming from Jaipur in India. Then they created some twin sets using a washed linen.
It's a pretty lovely collection but you might just be wondering what it is exactly that Merchant & Mills do. Are they just a fabric shop? Well, no. You can buy fabric from them but you can also buy patterns, scissors, needles and pins and anything that you might need to make a garment from scratch.
Going briefly back to the collaboration though. This all came about because the Other Store wanted to do something that had a real story from its inception to you wearing repeatedly to it becoming a favourite. They're available to peruse and purchase at the Other Store website and shop on Kingly Street.
