Simba make some mattresses, you might have seen the adverts that shows a cross section of the mattress in question. This year they are joining forces with charity Crisis to create the Simba Art Collective. Simba have commissioned five contemporary artists to screen print twenty mattresses each.
You read it right, that’s twenty mattresses per artist; I don’t know quite how you’d go about doing that. Maybe they make the screen-printing machines big enough but that’s not our problem.
All we have to do is check out all of the mattresses, work out where you’d put something of that size and buy one. All of the money from each of the mattresses/prints go straight to Crisis. Simba are also donating an additional 5% of all mattress sales throughout November and December so if you get a non-printed one you can also partake in the charitable donation and you can even donate directly here.
The end goal of this is to help Crisis carry out Crisis at Christmas where they prepare an amazing 33,000 meals and provide companionship and cheer to 11,000 people.
The mattresses are available at Simba and are £599 for a UK Double or £699 for a King Sized.
